Location and Parking for The Rogue Theatre

The Rogue Theater is in The Historic Y, located on the south side of University Boulevard between 4th Avenue and 5th Avenue. Our address is

The Rogue Theatre
300 East University Boulevard, Suite 150
Tucson AZ 85705

For directions, see the first map below, or use this Google map.

Parking around The Historic Y

Beginning one hour before curtain time, there is free parking for audience members with mobility issues directly in front of the theater, and in a lot adjacent to the theatre. The inset in the first map below shows the parking lot location. From University Boulevard, turn south onto Herbert Avenue (the alley just east of the theatre) then turn left through a gate into the lot. Signs and parking lot attendants are provided to assist patrons.

This lot can fill up for our more popular performances. Luckily, there is ample street parking within one or two blocks of the theatre. Streets with unrestricted parking include University Boulevard west of 5th Avenue, and large portions of Arizona and 6th Avenues (the first alley and street west of 5th Avenue). Meters along Fourth Avenue (one block east) cost $1/hour M-F from 9 to 5 pm and are free and unrestricted at other times.  Many streets around The Historic Y have resident-only parking at various or all times.  Please make sure you read all posted signs before parking.  The second map below identifies where you can park at various times. You can download a copy here to print out.

We provide the neighborhood parking map as a courtesy only and do not guarantee the accuracy of its information. Please verify parking restrictions by carefully reading posted signage. Restrictions are subject to change at any time and without notice.

Tucson’s Modern Streetcar

The modern Tucson Streetcar is a convenient way to get to the theatre, with the closest streetcar stop only one block away on University Boulevard. See the Streetcar Website for fare, route, and schedule information.

Bicycling amenities

There is a bike rack in front of the entrance to The Rogue Theatre.  We encourage people to use a U-Lock when locking to this rack.

Tucson’s bike share program extends approximately 2 miles in every direction.  Passes are $8/day or $18/week and may be downloaded on your smartphone. More information is at Tugo Bike Share.
