Andrew Undershaft is a millionaire weapons manufacturer. His daughter, Barbara, is a Major in the Salvation Army. When the two of them are reunited after many years, what follows is a fascinating and uneasy debate about the best way to save a man’s soul—with bullets or bread, cannons or Christ. Filled with humor, pathos and some of Shaw’s most challenging ideas, this show is guaranteed to spark fierce post-show discussions.

A fanciful journey, told with startling theatricality, that begins with a young boy determined to see the world. See it he does—from England to the South Seas and back over a thirty year span, all the while accompanied by his faithful dog. When he tells his story in print, he becomes the toast of London and the living example of how to survive by one’s own ingenuity…or does he?

When Leontes, the king of Sicily, suspects his queen of infidelity with his best friend, the king of Bohemia, his anger causes the death of his son, his queen and the abandonment of his infant daughter on a rocky sea coast. Sixteen years later, his daughter falls in love with a young swain, setting in motion a series of events that give Leontes a second chance. Filled with fury, love and miracles, (and a clown or two) this play affirms Shakespeare’s skill as a master storyteller.
